AXIS is the number one performing arts school in the North-West with over 30 years of experience and a national reputation for excellence, with numerous awards and national titles including Dance School of the Year and Best Dance and Performing Arts Academy in the North and Midlands.

 

All classes are delivered at our purpose built studio building in the centre of Stockport with tutors who have tread the world's biggest stages.

AXIS is a popular choice for new dancers of all abilities and those wanting to take their dance training to the next level. 

 

Classes are available for children aged 18 months -18 years in all aspects of dance including Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Commercial, Hip-Hop, Acro, Musical Theatre, Singing and Drama.

With a huge timetable spanning Monday - Thursday from lunchtime until late evening and all day Saturday there are plenty of options for all students.

AXIS offer a variety of performance opportunities that are available to all students including dance exams (IDTA), shows, competitions and much more.

​

All AXIS tutors have full DBS certificates as well as being trained in First Aid and Safeguarding.
